The Womb chair & ottoman was designed by Eero Saarinen in 1948 with a steel rod frame base and polished chrome. The upholstery in cashmere with a fiberglass moulded shell, and polyurethane foam. Today the Womb Chair is smaller, proportioned at 85% of the original.
